AI in Health with Shasha Jumbe, Founder and CEO of Level42.ai

Shasha is the co-founder and CEO of Level42.AI which creates AI-powered medical products. He combines mathematical modeling, machine learning, electronics, signal processing, physiology, and drug development tools to the integration of biomedical sciences and medical devices. 

His career spans innovative data science applications in implantable devices, artificial kidney infectious disease, oncology, immunology, child growth and development and global health policy. Previously, he was a senior program officer leading the Healthy Birth, Growth and Development knowledge integration (HBGDki) at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He also held positions at F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG as a Virology Disease Modeling Expert and at Amgen as a senior scientist.

Shasha aims to develop intelligent health platforms and democratize diagnostics to provide actionable and immediate insights on health status, in order to promote preventive care, improve quality of life for patients, and predict and prevent costly medical events for care providers. He holds a double major in Chemistry and Physics and postgraduate degrees in Biomedical Engineering & Biomedical Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College, NY.
